En octobre 2018, un collectif d’associations et d’élus interpellait Total sur l’absence de mention du changement climatique dans son plan de vigilance. Pour le pétrolier cependant, ce risque ne fait pas partie de ses obligations. Sous la pression, il accepte pourtant de l’intégrer dans son prochain plan, qui doit être publié en mars. Insuffisant pour le collectif qui pourrait porter plainte contre l’entreprise.
